Originally from the burbs of Buffalo, Cherie Collins set out to teach learning disabled and emotionally disturbed students (she relates).  After graduating from the State University of New York at Buffalo with a Bachelors in Special Education, she moved to Tucson, Arizona in 1982 and went on to attain her Masters in Educational Administration.

1987 brought her to the Florida initially working with middle school students in Pinellas County. She went on to provide crisis counseling and program management for a number of shelter facilities that served troubled teens in Palm Beach and Pinellas counties.

"When they put a computer on my desk and told me to be more productive I was at a loss, but fascinated with the possibilities. That's when I became aware of the need for personalized instruction.  I set out to use my teaching background to fill that need."

Twenty years later, keeping her schedule full provides no problem as she has had the pleasure of working with thousands of clients.  She also provides Adjunct Instruction at St. Petersburg College and is a Visiting Instructor at the University of South Florida, St. Petersburg.

"I have the greatest job.  I meet such a wide range of interesting people.  Learning about their interests and goals and helping to provide them with new skills is tremendous fun."
